Abbey Travel Worldchoice have been established in Selby (North Yorkshire) since 1969, and are the oldest independent travel agency in the Selby area.

We are appointed agents for all major cruise lines and specialise particularly in ex UK cruises.

We are very pleased to be appointed as a Viking Status agent by Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, and offer a number of group departures on their ships each year, which include complimentary transfers from the North Yorkshire area to and from the departure ports, or an alternative of 'on board credit' for passengers making their own way to the ships.

We send a member of staff to escort our passengers on a number of selected departures each year, and these prove to be very popular with our more elderly passengers, and with single passengers who appreciate both the help that we can provide getting to and from the ships, and the security and companionship that can be found when travelling with a group of like minded passengers.

My Experience...

The Agency is operated by Mike and Gloria Bartram who have owned the business since 1972. During this time Mike and Gloria have travelled the world extensively, and both have first hand experience of many destinations and cruise ships, which they are pleased to share with customers.

The Agency specialises in arranging cruise holidays with all the major cruise lines, with the main emphasis on ex UK departures. Door to door transfers can be arranged on almost all ex UK sailings, and private coach transfers are often arranged from Selby and District to and from the ships.

The agency also arranges tailor made itineraries for passengers visiting Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the USA.

Mike and Gloria are supported by experienced staff who have been with the company for several years, all of whom have taken their own holidays on cruise ships and visited ships in port to widen their experience.
