Hello, I'm Howard and I'm your local cruise specialist

I have been in the travel trade for many years and formed Howard Travel in 1987. We have a team of
senior personnel staffing the office, many of whome have travelled extensively. Howard Travel is one of the largest independent travel agents in the South West of England and has won numerous awards.

Our trade memberships include ABTA, ATOL and IATA, Worldchoice, plus SWIFTA which is a 75 member strong association of the 'South West Federation of Independent Travel Agents.'

We also run a specialist cruise department run by Rod Mitchell and an Australia and New Zealand Department, we are also Canadian Specialists.

My Experience...

A member of staff has been named "Travel Consultant of the Year for the South West and Wales". The award was presented to Gill Hartigan, who works for Howard Travel, by Travel Weekly, the leading industry newspaper at a special awards ceremony dinner.

Gill’s success in helping to set up a specialist Weddings and Honeymoon’s abroad division of Howard Travel was part of the reason for her gaining the award. The judges also took into account Gill’s high level of customer service and satisfaction.

I was absolutely delighted because of all the dedicated hard work the staff put into ensuring their customers have great holidays.

All our staff form an integral part of our team in and our clients value our experience and professionalism. Gill helped us set up the new Weddings and Honeymoons department and has played such an important part in its success over the past two years.

Howard Travel have won a number of top awards over the past few years, including being voted ‘Best UK Travel Agent’ for two years running by the Sunday Times.

The company, which was started in 1987 by myself is based in Church Walk, Trowbridge and employs over twenty people.
