Fred Olsen Cruises
Fred Olsen have been cruising for over 150 years, meaning they really know what their passengers want from a cruise.
Fred Olsen pride themselves on offering a service which provides all the facilities you could possibly want but with a relaxed, intimate atmosphere. Past Fred Olsen cruisers are welcomed back with open arms and a warm smile from familiar faces. New Fred Olsen cruisers will experience a different style of cruising, making life long friends with other passengers and crew members.
Their ships are spacious and comfortable and small enough to take you to places other cruise lines can’t. All ships feature individual paintings and artwork from the personal collection of the Olsen family, and it’s that kind of attention to detail which give Fred Olsen that special touch.
Departures are available from Dover, Southampton, Liverpool, Newcastle, Greenock and Rosyth, meaning you don’t have to travel far to start your cruise holiday. So what’s stopping you?
Meet the fleet:
Balmoral – The largest in the Fred Olsen fleet, Balmoral is the grandest. With a home from home atmosphere, she offers 710 cabins and has recently been refitted.
Boudicca – This ship boasts many loyal followers due to it’s traditional British theme. Refitted in 2006, she has 449 cabins giving a spacious feel for 856 passengers
Black Prince - Retiring in October 2009, Black Prince is the oldest in the fleet and is setting sale for her farewell voyage soon. She’s small but has a big heart.
Black Watch – Offering a real traditional experience, Black Watch had a facelift in 2005 to offer fresh decor and cabins
Braemar – The second of the fleet to feature a pub, which on occasion boasts a late night comedian or laid back jazz music. She was recently refitted in 2008 increasing occupancy by 80 cabins and staterooms
