In 2010 you can cruise directly from Dover onboard Eurodam but if you can’t wait till then, Europe, the Caribbean, Australia and Argentina await you from overseas ports.
Meet the fleet:
Ms Amsterdam – Bearing the latest technology in ship building, ms Amsterdam has personal touches and a superior service. The specially commissioned sculpture in the heart of the ship soars three stories and original Art Deco pieces feature throughout the ship. Guests can attend the Digital Workshop to learn how to take better holiday photographs along with learning about blogging, email and social networking. Perfect for keeping in touch with your new found friends.
Ms Eurodam – Launched in 2008, Eurodam is a new Signature class ship with 11 passenger decks, a Pan Asian restaurant and lounge featuring panoramic views, a brand new Italian, a new atrium bar and enhanced show lounge. All powered by six diesel generators and propelled by the latest propulsion technology.
Ms Maasdam – Designed to carry fewer guests than others in the fleet, Maasdam offers more space for passengers. It’s Dutch heritage is paid homage to with a centrepiece ‘Totem’ made of 2000 pieces of glass, soaring three stories. She cruises to the Caribbean, Panama Canal, Canada & New England and Europe.

Ms Noordam – A Vista class ship, Noordam is named after the northern compass point and is powered by the latest cruising technology. Contemporary art and photographs adorn the walls and she boasts a valuable chest flanked by carved wooden 17th century Baroque columns and inlaid by ebony and precious stones. She sails the Caribbean and Europe during 2009 and 2010.
Ms Oosterdam – The second Vista class ship is a symbol of Holland America Line’s 135 year history. For first time cruisers, the Dutch heritage is quickly recognised and returning passengers come back for the full wraparound teak promenade deck and extensive use of crystal and marble. She sails on the Mexican Riviera, the Panama Canal and Europe.
Ms Prisendam – This is the most intimate ship of the fleet with a classic yacht feel for just 793 passengers. Prisendam will be cruising round South America and Africa, Europe and the Caribbean.
Ms Rotterdam - Setting the standard for others, Rotterdam’s namesake first set sail in 1872. For Holland America fans, memorabilia can be found throughout the ship as well as antiques representing the seafaring heritage of the cruise line. A real Holland America experience. Rotterdam sails South America, the Panama Canal and a Grand World Voyage in 2009.
Ms Ryndam – Another of the smaller ships, Ryndam carries artwork dating back to the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Her three storey atrium features a fountain which takes your breath away. Be serenaded by a string quartet whilst making your way from the dining room to the show lounge.
Ms Statendam – Carrying the Dutch theme throughout, there are more than $2 million worth of art and artefacts onboard. The Van Gogh Theatre commemorates the painter and in particular his paintings ‘The Starry Night’ and ‘Irises’. Cruise around Alaska’s Inside Passage and Glacier Bay onboard Statendam.
Ms Veendam - Cruising Bermuda, the Panama Canal, South America or Alaska is done in style onboard Veendam. ‘Mix’ is an innovative meeting place featuring three venues in one; ‘Champagne’ is great for celebrations, ‘Martinis’ serves Grey Goose cocktails and ‘Spirits and Ales’ serves single malts and sports updates. Something for everyone.
Ms Volendam – Volendam has a garden theme with flowers featuring heavily in arrangements and floral fabrics. You can explore Asia or Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific and also Alaska's Inside Passage and Glacier Bay.
Ms Westerdam – The third Vista class ship, Westerdam theme is Dutch heritage in the New World. Most staterooms have ocean views and may have private verandas. Contemporary art includes an original Andy Warhol portrait. The Digital Workshop allows guests to ‘show and tell’ their holidays with their photos, and can learn how to improve on these.
Ms Zaandam – Have you been looking for Bill Clinton’s saxophone? Or signature guitars by Queen, Iggy Pop and the Rolling Stones? Well look no further. The musical theme of this ship seperates it from the rest with memorabilia from a range of musical genres.
Ms Zuiderdam – A Waterford Crystal seahorse adorns the three storey atrium and artwork by Andy Warhol make this ship one to remember. Experience some romance in Europe or soak up the atmosphere of the Caribbean.
