River cruising offers a more intimate experience due to the fact the ships are a lot smaller accommodating up to 300 guests. With the ships being so much smaller it makes accessing the centre of all the towns and villages so much easier. You can actually get off the ship in one town and pick up the ship further down the river.
Once onboard you could have an excursion in the morning or afternoon and then cruise for the respective part of the rest of the day. Full day tours are also available all with English speaking guides. It is worth noticing that excursions are included in the price of your cruise unless states otherwise.
